Once you have your braces removed or have completed the last aligner of Invisalign, you enter the retention phase of treatment.
Our office has a variety of retainers including fixed retainers ( a wire adhered to the back of the front teeth, which is not visible), and removable retainers of all forms such as the Hawley retainers, clear retainers, or a positioner. Dr. Lee will recommend the best form of retainer for you at the end of your active treatment. An ultrasonic cleaner is also available to help remove any tartar build up on your retainers in the future.
Usually, our office will follow up with you for one year in the retention phase without any additional charges.
